Competitive Intelligence Overview

Track which influencers your competitors are working with and find new partnership opportunities.

Updated this week

Competitive Intelligence gives you a window into your competitors' influencer strategies. See which creators are partnering with competing brands, how much reach those partnerships generate, and find opportunities to recruit proven influencers for your own campaigns.

What You Can Do

  • Track competitors by adding their brand handles (e.g., @hiltonhotels, @hyatt)

  • Discover influencers who are actively working with those competitors

  • See performance data including reach, engagement, and mention frequency

  • Invite influencers directly into your InfluenceKit campaigns

How It Works

Competitive Intelligence scans social platforms to identify influencers who are creating sponsored content or brand mentions for the competitors you track. Results are compiled into an easy-to-browse discovery table where you can filter, sort, and take action.

The Dashboard

When you open Competitive Intelligence, you'll see three main areas:

  1. Insights Banner β€” A summary at the top showing the total number of influencers found across all tracked competitors, plus a highlight of the top-performing influencer by reach.

  2. Competitor Cards β€” Each competitor you track gets a card displaying:

    • Number of influencers found working with that brand

    • Total combined reach of those influencers

    • Count of currently active influencers

  3. Influencer Discovery Table β€” A detailed table listing every influencer found, with columns for:

    • Influencer name and handle

    • Platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

    • Which competitor they're associated with

    • Reach

    • Engagement

    • Number of mentions

    • Last seen status

    • An Invite button to bring them into your workflow

Getting Started

To start using Competitive Intelligence:

  1. Navigate to Competitive Intelligence in your InfluenceKit dashboard.

  2. Click Add Competitor and enter a brand's social media handle.

  3. InfluenceKit will begin scanning for influencers associated with that brand.

  4. Review the results in the discovery table and invite influencers who look like a good fit.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Start with your 2–3 closest competitors. You can always add more later as you refine your strategy.
