Adding a Beehiiv deliverable to your InfluenceKit report is a two-step process:
Step 1: Connect Your Beehiiv Account
In InfluenceKit, open Account (bottom of the left sidebar) → Connected Accounts.
Click Add Accounts.
Choose Beehiiv from the list of integrations.
You’ll need your beehiiv API Key:
Log in to your beehiiv account at https://app.beehiiv.com
Go to Settings > Integrations > API
Copy your API Key
Paste your API Key into the field and click Update.
Step 2: Add Your Beehiiv Post URL
Go to your Beehiiv dashboard at https://app.beehiiv.com
Navigate to the “Posts” section
Find the post you want to add to your report
Click on the post to open it
Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar
The URL format should be:
https://app.beehiiv.com/posts/[post-id]Or the analytics URL:
https://app.beehiiv.com/posts/[post-id]/analytics
In InfluenceKit, open the campaign you want the newsletter to appear in and start a new deliverable. Give it a title, paste the beehiiv URL into the URL field, and click Add.
Opens and clicks start appearing on the deliverable once beehiiv has reported them.
Filtering Clicks for Multi-Advertiser Newsletters
If your beehiiv newsletter includes multiple advertisers and you only want to count clicks on your own link, open the deliverable and expand Track clicks for. Once beehiiv has reported click data at least once, this section lists every link found in the post — pick the one (or ones) that are yours, and the deliverable’s Clicks stat only counts those. Leave it empty to use the newsletter-wide total.
Opens always show the total for the whole newsletter (all advertisers) — filtering only changes Clicks.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues:
Invalid API Key: Make sure you’re using the API Key from Settings > Integrations > API, not any other credential
Post Not Found: Ensure the post has been published and is not in draft status
Metrics Not Updating: Beehiiv statistics may take up to 24 hours to fully sync
