How to Add a Beehiiv Deliverable

Updated over a week ago

Adding a Beehiiv deliverable to your InfluenceKit report is a two-step process:

Step 1: Connect Your Beehiiv Account

  1. Navigate to your Connected Accounts page in InfluenceKit

  2. Click the “Add Account” button

  3. Select “Beehiiv” from the list of available integrations

  4. You’ll need your Beehiiv API Key:

  5. Paste your API Key into InfluenceKit

  6. Click “Connect” to save your Beehiiv integration

Step 2: Add Your Beehiiv Post URL

  1. Go to your Beehiiv dashboard at https://app.beehiiv.com

  2. Navigate to the “Posts” section

  3. Find the post you want to add to your report

  4. Click on the post to open it

  5. Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar

    • The URL format should be: https://app.beehiiv.com/posts/[post-id]

    • Or the analytics URL: https://app.beehiiv.com/posts/[post-id]/analytics

  6. In InfluenceKit, add this URL as a new deliverable to your report

Filtering Clicks for Multi-Advertiser Newsletters

If your beehiiv newsletter includes multiple advertisers and you only want to track clicks for your specific link:

Add #clicks@ followed by your domain or URL to the beehiiv URL

Examples:

https://app.beehiiv.com/posts/abc123/analytics#clicks@yourshop.com

https://app.beehiiv.com/posts/abc123/analytics#clicks@https://yourshop.com/product

What this does:

Opens - Shows total newsletter opens (all advertisers)

Clicks - Shows only clicks for links containing your filter

When to use this:

Use click filtering when you're an advertiser in a newsletter with multiple sponsors. Without filtering, clicks will show the total for ALL links in the newsletter.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues:

  • Invalid API Key: Make sure you’re using the API Key from Settings > Integrations > API, not any other credential

  • Post Not Found: Ensure the post has been published and is not in draft status

  • Metrics Not Updating: Beehiiv statistics may take up to 24 hours to fully sync
