Talent managers can bill a brand for a creator’s work straight from InfluenceKit. The brand pays once, by card. Your commission goes to your agency’s payout account as soon as they pay, and the creator’s share goes to the creator’s own payout account.
Before you start: set up your agency’s payouts
Your commission needs somewhere to go. Open Influencers, click the ⋯ menu, choose Payments, then click Set up payouts. Stripe asks for your business and bank details. You’ll only do this once.
Invite a creator to payouts
Each creator gets paid into their own Stripe account, so they need to set one up too.
Open Influencers and select the creator.
On the Payouts tab, click Invite to payouts.
Enter the creator’s email and click Send invite.
The creator gets an email with a link to set up payouts with Stripe. They don’t need an InfluenceKit login.
The Payouts tab shows where each creator stands:
Not invited: no invite sent yet.
Invited: an invite is out. Resend invite sends a fresh link and turns off the old one.
Setup in progress: the creator has started with Stripe but hasn’t finished.
Confirm name: the creator has finished. Check that the name Stripe verified is your creator’s, then click Confirm name. Nothing is paid to a creator until you confirm.
Ready: the creator can be paid.
Request a payment
On the creator’s Payouts tab, click Request payment. You can also go to Payments and click Request payment.
Pick the creator, then enter the brand’s name and billing email.
Enter the amount and your commission (0–50%). The panel on the right shows what the brand pays, what you get and what the creator gets.
Add a note for the brand if you like, then click Send request.
The brand gets an email with a link to pay by card. The card processing fee is added to the brand’s total, so neither you nor the creator pays it. InfluenceKit doesn’t take a fee.
If the creator hasn’t been invited to payouts yet, the form asks for their email and sends the invite with the request.
A single request can be up to $25,000.
When the brand pays
Your commission is sent to your agency’s payout account right away.
The creator’s share is sent as soon as the creator has finished payout setup and you’ve confirmed their name. If they’re already set up, that happens right away too.
If the creator hasn’t finished setting up, their share is held for up to 30 days. They get reminder emails on days 3, 7, 14 and 21. The payment’s page shows Waiting on creator payout setup and how long is left.
If the creator doesn’t set up in time
After 30 days without a finished setup, the brand is refunded in full, including the card fee. Your commission is taken back from your payout account, and you and the brand both get an email.
You can refund early from the payment’s page: click Refund brand. This works while the creator’s share is still held.
Track your payments
Payments lists every request, newest first, with its status:
Awaiting payment: the brand hasn’t paid yet. Open the payment and click Copy pay link to send it again yourself.
Waiting on creator payout setup: the brand paid and the creator’s share is held.
Paid: everyone has been paid.
Refunded: the brand got their money back.
Open a payment to see each payout, your commission and what the brand was charged.
