Team Management

Invite teammates to your account, set their role, and control which calendars and campaigns they can access.

Understanding team roles

Every teammate has one account-wide role:

  • Admin — full access, including billing and subscription, inviting and removing teammates, and account settings.

  • Member — day-to-day access to campaigns, assignments, and reports, without account/billing settings.

  • Guest — the most limited role, for someone who only needs narrow, view-level access.

On top of that account-wide role, you can grant a teammate Admin, Member, Guest, or No access on each individual calendar, and Member or No access on each individual campaign — so someone can have full visibility into one calendar or campaign and none into another.

Inviting a team member

  1. Click Account at the bottom of the left sidebar, then open the Team Members tab.

  2. Click Add User.

  3. Enter their name and email address.

  4. Click Invite.

The Team Members tab in InfluenceKit settings, listing everyone on the account with the Add User button above.

They’ll get an email with a link to create their account and join your team.

Managing a teammate’s access

From the Team Members page, open a teammate to set their account-wide role and, if you want finer control, their per-calendar and per-campaign access.

Team collaboration features

Assignment Owners — Assign teammates to a specific assignment so they’re notified about it. Open the assignment, go to its settings, and add them as an Assignment Owner.

Campaign access — Control who can see a given campaign from that campaign’s settings.

Comments and @mentions — Leave comments on campaigns, assignments, or deliverables, and use @mention to notify a specific teammate.

Removing a team member

  1. Open Settings → Team Members.

  2. Find the teammate.

  3. Click Remove from Team and confirm.

They lose access immediately; their past comments and activity stay in your account.

Team best practices

  • Grant the minimum access someone actually needs, and use per-calendar/per-campaign access to scope it down further.

  • Review who has access periodically, and remove former teammates promptly.

  • Keep discussion in InfluenceKit comments (with @mentions) instead of a separate tool, so the history stays attached to the campaign or deliverable it’s about.
