How to Use InfluenceKit to Track Content at Your Conference

Here’s how to track content for your conference or meetup using InfluenceKit.

1. Create a campaign and an assignment

Select New Campaign, give it a name (usually the conference name and year), and select Begin. Inside the campaign, select Create Assignment. Name the assignment something like “Conference Name Creator Campaign,” and set an End Date — the conference’s last day, or a few days after, works well. Use the description field to lay out the campaign and any contest or giveaway details.

Open the Automatic Hashtag Tracking (optional) section and enter the hashtags, a date range, and the platforms to search. InfluenceKit will then automatically pull in content from your connected influencers’ accounts that uses those hashtags.

2. Invite influencers

From the assignment, add influencers by handle, email, or name, invite several at once with Bulk Invite, or share an invite link. Influencers create an InfluenceKit account (or sign in to an existing one) and connect their social accounts.

3. Track content and engagement

Watch the assignment for influencer contributions. Add a checklist to remind influencers about the actions you need from them.

4. Run a contest (optional)

Contests aren’t on every plan — check with us if you don’t see the option. Where it’s available, open the Contest feature within your assignment and give it a name, details, prizes, and rules. Choose whether entries are ranked by total deliverables or by number of different platforms used, and set the contest’s start and end dates. Influencers see their ranking on a leaderboard as the contest runs.

5. Review and share campaign results

View total stats for the campaign, including each influencer’s individual stats, and share a live report with stakeholders by copying its URL.
