Why Are My Instagram Reel View Counts Different on InfluenceKit?
If you've noticed a difference in the view counts of your Instagram Reels on InfluenceKit compared to Instagram, don't worry - there are a few reasons why this might occur.
Reason 1: The Reel was Boosted
If you've boosted your Reel on Instagram for wider reach, the views from this promotion won't be reflected in InfluenceKit's statistics. This is because Facebook, which owns Instagram, does not include boosted stats in the API that InfluenceKit uses to pull data.
Reason 2: The Reel has Received Views on Facebook
If your Reel was shared to Facebook by you or automatically by Instagram, the views received on Facebook are not included in the API. This means these views won't be included in InfluenceKit's view count.
How to Add the Missing Views
If you want a more accurate view count for your Reel on InfluenceKit, you can manually add the missing stats. Here's how:
Find the Reel you'd like to add the missing view stats.
Click "Preview & edit".
Select "Views" in the drop-down under the "Reel Statistics" field on the right.
Enter the number of views.
Click outside the field to save the changes automatically.
Here's a gif showing you how to complete the steps above:
Note: Custom view stats will be added to the organic view stats already displayed by InfluenceKit, and the organic view count will continue to increase after adding custom view stats.
In conclusion, if you notice a discrepancy between the view counts of your Instagram Reels on InfluenceKit and Instagram, it's likely due to boosted views or views from Facebook not being included in InfluenceKit's data. But don't worry - you can still track your Reel's success by manually adding the missing stats. Happy Reeling!
